Plans Motorsport carries out road car servicing to the same high standards it applies to its competition cars.
By definition, sports car owners are driving enthusiasts and they will appreciate the shared passion we will have in servicing and maintaining their cars. Recent UK legislation has forbidden manufacturers from insisting that their warranty on new cars is only valid if work is carried out by their own franchised dealers. So the choice is yours
Our service department offers all the benefits you would expect to find from a main dealer - including loan cars and/or collection and delivery. If you prefer to wait we have a comfortable customer area with complimentary refreshments. We have on-site MOT testing facilities and insurance-approved bodyshop.
We specialise in sports cars and are proud to announce our appointment as an official Noble service agent.

Diagnostics and Remedial Work
As part of our “modus operandi” we carry out a thorough examination of all our customers’ cars. We report back on any issues we find and agree a course of action. We have all the latest diagnostic tools, and have on-site MOT testing facilities.
Cars can be tested on-site before you leave. This ensures you can be completely satisfied before you leave our facility
Suspension set-up, geometry and handling optimisation
Making your sports car handle correctly is our speciality. Our standard handling/geometry check includes:

What makes us different is that whatever set up service you go for we test on-site using the famous 1.9 mile circuit before and after to fully evaluate and advise on settings, dampers, tyre pressures and temperatures. We will set up your car dependant upon your driving style, what you want to acheive, the tyres you are using, etc etc.

Mechanical
In addition to the above we offer full mechanical servicing, repairs, performance upgrades and tuning. We have extensive experience in all aspects of engine tuning including Lotus and Caterham K-Series; Lotus Elsies with Audi, Duratec and Honda conversions; as well as Noble Ford 2.5ltr and 3ltr V6.
Electrical
We can carry out all electrical work from a light bulb change to a complete bespoke race-car loom.
Bodywork and Paint
We have an on-site bodyshop for cosmetic improvements, accident damage repairs, or full restorations. We focus on sports cars, and repair to the highest standards. We are happy to either work direct with you or through your insurance company and will manage the whole process of recovery, liaising with the insurance company's engineers, obtaining approval, carrying out the repair and settling the account. We specialise in fibreglass cars.
